This amusing little gem was printed as a letter
to the editor in Hyderabad newspaper. The writer (probably an old man)
is complaining about an advertisment that heard on All India Radio
which is run by the government.
While amusing, this does reveal a little bit about middle class
(Mehdipatnam is definitely a middle class suburb!) attitudes to
education. While growing up, I recall elderly relatives actually saying
things like this. A reverential attitude towards education was
definitely something that was dinned into us.
