private coaching classes

    In addition to attending schools and colleges, most Indians also attend additional classes at private coaching colleges such as the "Swarnandhra College of Engineering". Many years ago while preparting for the Joint Entrance Examination for the Indian Institute of Technology, I my self attended such an institution. It was pretty rough - after a full day of classes at school, I would spend up to 3 hours in the evening at a coaching school called Sanghals in South Delhi.
Spoken English classes

The number of diverse businesses housed in this building is quite remarkable. "Brown's Spoken English" as it name suggests is most likely a private school. Such English schools have become a growth industry with knowledge English becoming a common requirement for all high-paying jobs. Most Indian learn written English in school but are often not confident when speaking.
The sign board for "Vijay Barghavi chit funds" needs some explanation as well. Chit funds are a uniquely Indian approach to managing household savings combining the functions of a bank with aspects of a lottery!
